Are you ready? EVERYONE is counting down now. Only 6 official days to go. You can't include the 25th as some kids WILL attempt to get out of bed at 12:01 Sunday morning, mine excluded (they will be tied up until I sneak in and release them around 6-hehe). I did attempt to finish all shopping this weekend. Spent a wonderful evening with my sister who has blessed me this holiday season with a new Razr cell phone (she works for Cingular). She does love me at least a little.
The love of my life is walking around with a cold... fever, cough, stuffy-head, ache, chills.... all the good stuff. I think for Christmas he may just want to get better. Of course it did not help him playing tennis in the rain on Saturday even though it was in the high 50's!
Lenah will be spending her time off school in the gym training. She actually complained today because she will only have "2-a-days" on Monday's and Thursday's and not on the other days. Kaya, her coaches sister, offered to pick her up on the mornings she has practice. I think poor Kaya is definitely certifiable, lol.
12月14日   Lenah did okay at her last Meet in Greenville. Of course she was as cute as can be. Her scores were not the greatest but we are still extremely proud of her! She did not come home empty-handed winning a medal for a 5th place tie for bars and 12th place for beam. This was surprising as these are the two areas she complains about the most.
 Next Meet will be in Charlotte, NC. I have heard that it could possibly be snowing there in January. Apparently snow is a big deal. HAHAHAHA!
Jordan is still playing tennis outdoors and is REALLY looking forward to Christmas because he is pretty sure he will be getting a new tennis racquet. Just guess how hard it is to buy something that has to be tried out by the person who is going to use it as a surprise.
 Other big news this week; Jordan's girlfriend broke up with him. This was the first time I EVER have had attitude from my wonderful son and as he is only 9 the last thing I imagined was that his little heart was broke! Actually I think it was more pride than heart. His true loves, Serra and Sheridan, are back in Ohio and nobody can compare to them! This is only the beginning and UGGHHH! I just don't know if I can handle the drama that comes with teenagers. HELP!
The GREAT news is.... only 10 1/2 more days until Christmas!! If only my shopping were anywhere CLOSE to being done! Don't be surprised if your gift/card shows up just a tad late.
 12月6日  It is finally getting cold here. It is so much easier to be in the Christmas spirit when it is cold outside. Really hard to imagine it is time for Santa when it is 75 degrees out!
Mike's sister Pattie called and told him that it was snowing in Ohio. Yuck! I do NOT miss driving in that stuff at all!
 I did instantly think about the silence that comes outside when a good snow has fallen and how much fun it is to play in it with the kids. I just hate driving in it, lol.
The kids are all excited about the growing amount of presents under the tree. Everyday they are scoping it out to see what else has crept under there while they were out.
 As for me.... I just want another night like I had for my birthday, lol!
I have been having total Blogging withdrawl!! I have been so busy with work that by the time I can get away from this thing I have to crawl because my legs are numb.
Are you ready for Christmas???? I am starting to get really excited!! First though, I need to update everyone on my birthday. Mike made up for my day being on Thanksgiving by renting a nice hotel room the day after. We were actually alone for like a WHOLE 24 hours!!! Can you say Heaven? Ahhhh.....time alone. He took me to a jewelry store and helped me pick out a charm bracelet (I have only wanted one for like 7 years) and a charm to go with it. Then we strolled over to Hopelands Gardens (where we were married) and walked around remembering that wonderful day 10 years ago. He then took me out to Applebee's for a wonderful dinner. I am the luckiest woman on earth! It was so nice to just be a couple for a day with no worries.... just spending time together.
